Become an Emissary

Are you passionate about the work Red Bird Mission is doing in the lives of thousands living in the mountains of southeastern Kentucky? Do you know of a church or individual who has never heard of Red Bird Mission? Are you willing to share your passion for Red Bird Mission to encourage others to be involved in the ministry of Red Bird Mission?

Red Bird Mission Emissaries spread the word about the good work being done here in Appalachia to individuals and churches in their area. Volunteers are needed to help with this effort.

Guidelines for Emissaries

1. Be comfortable speaking to groups from 1-100.
2. Have an understanding of the ministries of Red Bird Mission and current needs
3. Seek out opportunities in your church and community to tell others about Red Bird Mission.
4. Be available (as your schedule allows) to fill requests made to Red Bird Mission for speakers in your area.
5. Have transportation to visit other churches. (Mileage is reimbursed.)
6. Emissaries do not receive remuneration for their services.
7. Inform Red Bird Mission of visits that are made and any follow-up information.

What you will receive

1. Videos, presentations and background information for making presentations.
2. Current information, brochures, and ways to support.
3. Contact information for area churches and groups who would like a presentation.
