Stacia Carwell came to Red Bird Mission with her parents in 1987.
Her father, Craig Dial, was to serve as supervisor in Retail Operations
and her mother, Karen, came to be manager of the craft store.
Stacia attended Red Bird Mission School and graduated, Salutatorian
of her class, in 1997. She went on to Eastern Kentucky University
in Richmond, Kentucky where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in
Psychology. While in college she worked with the Wesley Foundation
on campus in organizing a Christian outreach to students going to the
bars on the weekends. Stacia worked with the Red Bird Mission Work Camp
as a crew leader while in between college semesters. After graduating
she worked with the Craft Program, traveling to churches with craft
shows, for four years. While pregnant with her first child she
transferred to Community Outreach where she serves as the Family Ministries
Coordinator. Stacia’s mother is now a local pastor in the
Red Bird Missionary Conference, her father is the Director of Economic
Opportunity and her brother is serving in Washington State with the
U.S.Navy.
Stacia’s husband, John Carwell is a local pastor in the Red Bird
Missionary Conference. The two met while working on an Emmaus
weekend. Stacia’s immediate family includes husband, John;
stepson, Michael; and daughter Madison Bella.
