Dr. Lynn Fogleman
Since October 1997, Dr. Lynn and Dr. Sharon Fogleman have served at the Red Bird Clinic as a "job-sharing" physician team. Prior to coming to Kentucky, they served as medical missionaries with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church to Maua Methodist Hospital in Maua, Kenya, East Africa. The Fogleman’s have three children. Kurt is a sophomore at Simpson College in Iowa, and Mark and Joella both attend Red Bird Mission School. Dr. Sharon graduated from Cornell College in Iowa and from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. She completed her residency at the Black Hawk Family Practice Program in Waterloo, Iowa and was certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 1985.Dr. Lynn graduated from the University of Kansas for both undergraduate studies and medical school. He completed his residency at the Mercy-St. Luke's Family Practice Program in Davenport, Iowa and was certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 1983. He practiced three (3) years prior to becoming a missionary.Both doctors are members of the Christian Medical and Dental Society and the Kentucky Medical Association.
