Mike, Lisa & Family, Women Farmers of Appalachia

I have always had a life-long dream of being a farmer. Several years ago I leased some land but it just seemed to not take off. A few months ago my family and I joined Women Farmers of Appalachia and Heifer Project International. Seems like everything just began to fall in place. We just received some goats from a family in Tennessee. Thanks to the WFA, Heifer, and God, our family now has a small farm which we enjoy very much. Never lay down a dream, all things are possible with God.
