38 Years of Service

Thelma, an LPN at Red Bird Clinic, has been working with the Mission for 38 years. Her warm smile and expertise makes her a valuable part of the staff at Red Bird Clinc.

Thelma relates,
" I grew up and went to Red Bird School, so I realized the need for medical care in this area. I was one of the first community persons to go to nursing school. I felt a call and need to help others, especially the elderly who sometimes cannot help themselves. I feel fortunate and blessed to be able to be a nurse at Red Bird. I have seen many changes, but the need for health care is still the same."
