Schedule a Tour

Tours are available for individuals or groups who wish to see the Red Bird Mission campus. Please read the following information and then call or email to make a reservation. We look forward to sharing our ministry with you!  

What you will see

Tours are given by trained Red Bird Mission staff and volunteers. Visitors will see a video about the Mission, visit the craft store, and see each of the five areas of ministry. Tours typically last around 1 hour or more dependent on group size and needs.

Directions

Red Bird Mission is located in the southeast corner of Clay County, Kentucky on State Hwy 66 about 26 miles north of Pineville and about 33 miles southeast of Manchester. The nearest commercial airports are in Lexington, KY and Knoxville, TN.  CAUTION:  Directions generated by Internet mapping programs frequently direct you the shortest route to the Mission but typically the hardest routes to drive. Please follow our directions for easiest travel.

Group Size

Red Bird Mission can accomodate groups from 1-100. Please see the reservations section for timelines.

Meals for tour groups can be provided at the following locations.

Lodging

Small groups under 20 can be accomodated on campus. Fees are $10/person or $15/couple for each evening. Limited Availability, must be reserved in advance.

We do accept walk-in tours, but for your conveinence we ask that you follow these guidelines. Lodging is based on availability.
