Director of Education/School Principal
Red Bird Mission has an opening for a Director of Education/K-12 School Principal. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Function as principal of our K-12 School.
- Establish school calendar, courses of instruction, and general educational policy in coordination with the Education Committee.
- Recruit and recommend professional staff for placement at school.
- Oversee school maintenance and upkeep.
- Supervise & evaluation all educational personnel.
- Advise the Board of Directors and its committees on educational and budget matters.
- Provide spiritual leadership for the faculty & student body.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree or higher
- Professional licensure in Kentucky as a school administrator; or, professional licensure as a school administrator in another state and immediately eligible for licensure in the state of Kentucky.
